Sydney Open Symposium
23 and 24 May
On 23 May 2026, we’re hosting Sydney Open Symposium: Home Truths, a timely event exploring the past, present and future state of housing in NSW. Through interviews and panel discussions experts and innovators will share knowledge and ignite conversation. On the following day see the lessons of the symposium materialised with a private house tour. Choose one home from our curated selection of exemplary residential designs, from small-footprint apartments and sustainable Passivhaus projects to medium-density designs and meticulous remediations of iconic architecture.

This year, we’re taking Sydney Open on the road and our first stop is Western Sydney! Join us on Saturday 29 August for Parramatta Open and enjoy a full day of exploration. We’ll shine a spotlight on the city’s bustling streets, unlocking some of the oldest buildings in Sydney as well as new and iconic buildings, many of which are rarely open to the public.
