Parramatta Open 2026
Event recap
On Saturday 29 August 2026, Sydney Open went west for the inaugural Parramatta Open

Parramatta Open was a day that shone a new light on the bustling streets of Parramatta. Across the city, 18 buildings opened their doors to our event attendees, giving them access to rarely seen spaces and unique experiences.
Attendees visited a program of buildings that were as diverse as the city itself; from heritage sites that tell stories of early colonial architecture, to award-winning contemporary buildings with views points over the Parramatta horizon.
A full schedule of activations added to the experience, with everything from local choir performances, architecture talks, military vehicle displays and even a golden-ticket-only access pass to preview the new Powerhouse Parramatta ahead of its official opening.
