Sydney Open 2025
Event recap
With 57 buildings in the program, 2025 was the largest version of the Sydney Open flagship event ever held

In 2025, we presented the largest Sydney Open flagship day since the event began in 1997. With 57 buildings in the program, the city was awash with orange banners signalling a Sydney Open site and smiling volunteers in their bright t-shirts welcoming visitors into spaces not normally seen by the public.
With activations ranging from vintage car displays and jazz bands at Government House to architect-led tours of the new and acclaimed Pier Pavillion at Barangaroo, our visitors enjoyed relaxing, entertaining and informative opportunities throughout the day.
The biggest challenge for Sydney Open 2025 visitors was choosing which of the many buildings to explore during a busy and exciting day out in the city.

Big thanks to the organising team. I loved spending the day satisfying my curiosity about "I wonder what it's like in there?"
