Central Station Tour
To celebrate our largest Sydney Open yet, we’re offering City Pass ticketholders the chance to win an exclusive tour of the former mail tunnels at Central Station on Sunday 2 November.
Operating for more than 130 years, mail trains ran from Platform 1 of Central Station, transporting parcels, letters, groceries, medical supplies and more across the state. Beneath the platform is a network of tunnels that were used for moving luggage and mail to and from the former Parcels Post Office in Central Station. The last mail train arrived in November 1988, and the post office closed in 1993. The tunnels are no longer in use but are a favourite with filmmakers.
Purchase your City Pass before 12pm on Friday 24 October to go into the draw to win two tickets to tour the former mail tunnels of Central Station. Ballot winners will be notified on Monday 27 October.
Tour times will be allocated, and tickets are non-transferable.
