Applications are now open
Sydney Open, presented by Museums of History NSW on Sunday 2 November 2025, is our city’s premier architecture and design program.
Since 1997, Sydney Open has unlocked the doors of the city’s most important and architecturally inspiring buildings and spaces, many of which are usually off limits to the public.
We are seeking Sydney’s most iconic and interesting buildings to open their doors for Sydney Open this November. You will join a carefully curated program of buildings and spaces recognised for their significance in our city’s architectural landscape and welcome new audiences to your space.
The Sydney Open program runs from 9am to 4pm, offering ticketholders the opportunity for a ‘choose your own adventure’ approach to exploring usually private buildings. As one of Australia’s foremost curated architectural programs, Sydney Open relies on the generous involvement of building owners and stakeholders like you.
